Lowe's is planning to layoff some of the teams starting from January 2023. Mostly Contractors but not sure. Number of Layoff is higher then previously happens in 4-5 Years ago.
Some of the Lowe's Employee already know about this plan.

My advice start looking for another job. ASAP, Nobody is purchasing from lowes and home depot prices to high. Be smart get the he-l out now
Lowe's laid off Corporate employees on 4 April 2023. They have not released the number terminated, but I've heard through the grapevine it was 900.
So nobody is forced to work there. You get paid for the hours worked. You have the choice to quit. But because it's not run the way you like it you choose to go back everyday and go to social media and trash the company giving you a paycheck. Very few great companies out there to work for. Lowes isn't very demanding many people working there wouldn't last at a job 5yatvgeld them accountable for their work output. If your that unhappy do everyone a favor and quit
where are the layoff's?
I can’t see Lowes doing layoffs because they’re already shorthanded and understaffed. I can understand them getting rid of people for attendance and other stuff that they been written up for in all that class, a violations etc. but seriously I’ve been with this company for seven years and holding on to people and keeping them working is very hard. I actually need to get rid of the people that sit in the office and do absolutely nothing. The people that show up late every day need to go.
They will come without warning. Melvin is big on surprises.
don't be stupid you know it's coming you can blame your buddy Biden
Disney = happiest place on Earth
Lowe's equals the most miserable place on Earth

Backend Clerk
It's based on "how many bays they service" which is a joke. What the vendors demand, MST is not offering. It's a lot of pencil whipping lies. Hey what's today's safety topic? Haha what a joke!
With MST Green Team coming to more stores, less OSLG Red Vests will be needed.
MST = Copy yet another idea from Home Depot. Get Vendors to pay for it. Spend less in payroll for it than the money taken in by Vendors. Pocket the balance of Vendor money to pay Melvin, Billy Sears, and Small Hands' bonuses. Vendors then raise their prices to Lowes to cover the expense. The MST will be the LAST entity to get laid off.
Please lay off MST crews. They are worthless
Please lay me off, I need some unenjoyment
