Would you kindly share if you were passed over for a promotion and how long you have stayed at GA after being passed over? From the last post I am interested in seeing if people actually stay at GA instead of betting on their own skills sets? Or even if you were demoted and stayed at GA instead of moving on???

I finally bet on my skill set and was hired at the first company I applied to for $20K/yr more. I am much happier now as my new company has superior talent that can recognize quality and even uses that to market their products. The only thing I complain about anymore is the time I wasted staying at GAASI for so long.
I have seen people demoted and stay at GA - A senior manager in IT. I was shocked he stayed. I lost respect for him after he stayed and realized he probably isn’t someone I should be learning form or seeking advice from. As far as passed over… there are tons of cr---y workers at GA that feel they should be promoted… but never will but they will never leave bc you wouldn’t be a GA worker if you didn’t complain all the time.
