I ran away from my incompetent manager who used every opportunity to express his animosity towards me. I'm only now seeing how bad this place was. It will take me some time to recover from the stress I experienced here.
GF is the place where many lose their self-confidence. I'm writing this as a support those who think they can't do better. That is simply not true. There is life outside GF!

There was an older post on here describing how GFers leaving and going to work at a different company would be like those videos of animals who were tortured and confined their whole lives and when they get rescued and released and see grass for first time they are ecstatic and utterly befuddled by it.
Hilarious analogy and very true. GF has conditioned us that all this it is normal. It is not. It is way better greener pastures elsewhere. There is no perfect place. Every places has issues and problems. But no where to the degree and magnitude present at Globalfoundries
Sorry this happened to you. People have no idea how bad managers can cause long term stress. It's horrible. Good luck to you.
