Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

A bit off-topic but please respond

Have You Had Any Pay Adjustments in 2021 and 2022?

Hello All - I work in the IT department of a Fortune 500 company who is not a competitor. I wanted to see if I can learn what other Fortune 500 companies did in 2021 and 2022 in terms of adjusting pay due to rising inflation.

My company did nothing so far and people are upset, we are being told that we are being paid the market wages and that we have low attrition and that therefore people are not upset and are happy to stay.

I've heard that many Fortune 500 companies had pay adjustments in 2021 and 2022 and I wanted to share that information with our ELT regardless of the BS they are feeding us.
Anyhow, please share if your org had any adjustments during 2021 and 2022 - I and I am sure orther layoffs.com visitors would appreciate that.

Thanks...

$1 billion this Fall https://www.theinformation.com/articles/what-belt-tightening-cisco-ceo-planned-1-billion-budget-increase-to-retain-employees (no further adjustments wrt inflation).

We have 83000 employees. That results in $12,000 per person on average.

PS: I have seen nothing from these $12,000. I got same salary raise as in the previous year and less RSUs as in the previous year.

Ha, at the same time, the company performance factor was quite low (0.83 or 0.84?) giving us 17% less bonus.
