My store had 3 deaths when I worked there and we did absolutely nothing to honor them.
As the title says, we had 3 deaths that occurred within the 3 years I worked there. I've seen other people who have posted pictures of how their store had a memorial of the passed associate to honor their life. I've seen this at Walmart as well. My store manager did absolutely nothing, it's like he didn't care. No memorial, no note in the break room, we didn't even do a fund raiser for their family. Apparently, from what I've heard from others anyway, he shut it all down when people asked about doing something. The ONLY memorial we had was off the property at a park for the last person who lost her life.
This happened well over a year ago, I just thought about it when I saw a post that someone from another store passed away, and they were doing something for them. I had to vent about it.
