I think we should plan to just leave GF as soon as possible. No point on staying in this he-l which has lost its edge, credibility and trust with employees. I will not be surprised if we see few more ATULs stepping up.
We can not blame anyone if we still stay in this sinking ship.

@OP is not Pivot material, and never was. Stuff your sorrys in a sack Mister!
If you make the cut... Wait it out for micron to show up and make 2x what you make here.
Anyone want to be raises will suck again?
Sometimes the way back up is down. Let me tell you a story. It's 1 994. I went ice climbing, and I fell into a crevasse. I hurt my leg, and I couldn't climb back up. So fighting every natural instinct, doing the thing that seemed most awful to me, I climbed down into the darkness. And that's how I got out. when I got back to base camp, I went and found my fellow climber, the one who had cut me loose after I fell. And I said, ''Connie Chung, you did the right thing.''
Yea at this point guys it’s really last straw. Rode this out hoping for best… never came. It really is time to bail…. Others I know who were not die hates but rather let’s see where’s this go - are out. It’s been a long stressful road the never panned out- time to find greener pastures
Hey @pkc+1jLzZW3t
at this point no point being polite - fu-k you!
I agree. GF is on path to extinction.
I used to be very hopeful employee and I made a point to stay in GF after first pivot. When I look back , I felt deceived, lied and wronged. CEO made every attempt to befool us. Always came with colorful bar charts to tell us that we were out of woods and our profit will be going to moon. He kept telling false stories and kept keeping all employees in dark. I feel like my whole faith is shaken. I am not going to trust this ceo and leadership anymore .. not a single moment.. I am saying all this and am sure that I am in majority. When majority of employees loose faith in leadership, there is definitely truth. History is witness that this leads to companies disappearing. This is start of GF demolition and matter of time before it will find itself devoid of enough human resource to even support itself as bottom feeder foundry and will be unable keep the flag on even as mature node foundry with feature rich technology.
I personally see a lot of positive changes in this company. The company is doing well, so is it’s stock! The big money will not get it wrong. When was the last time you see the stock go up consistently for a sinking ship!
Put positive aside, the company need to do better communication before and after org changes. Also need to fire those bad managers who had bad attrition rate, rather than layoff engineers.
