Hiring freeze, voluntary retirement, you fill in what comes next. Anyone know which functions or divisions will be impacted? I’ve been told these usually happen in December but could be January just as company decides everyone’s bonus and raises for Feb.

For those saying they want to be laid-off, I think that’s because you are expecting a package. Packages are not a given, especially if they offer you another job, and likely that job will not be one you want. If you turn down the job, you are out without that package. Be careful what you wish for.
do we know what departments are being let go next week?
Oh layoffs are happening next week but most likely required to stay through Feb in certain jobs
Hoping and praying I’m laid off. I want to be gone so badly but don’t want to pay back the sign on. NEVER take the sign on!
Praying that I am gone. This is not the same company anymore.
Week of December 5
2ise+1jLLOmea I hope you are right about Dec 6th for Frito. I am tired of waiting and doing the job of 3 people for the pay of 1
If anything like EUROPE it will be a massacre. Prepare thy selves...
@2ise+1jLLOmea Pcard is going away? That explains why my new BZA who ordered her pcard over a month ago has not received it yet.
I have been working with GBS/MBS on payroll for a while, they are saying the district managers will now be entering the payroll items directly to GBS instead of filling out teams pages for me to send in the info to GBS
@2ise+1jLLOmea This is exactly why I boycott all Pep products and LOBs.
Yes because migrating everything to MBS has been such a stellar move I guess that becomes the template for the future for outsourcing!!
oh dear !
Dec 6 is Frito Lay. Between Dec 8-Jan is pepsi. @2sye+1jLL0mea they are trying to send all admin jobs to India and/or Mexico. Payroll has begun migrating from the top level. They are handling all the cases/tickets/etc so it’s moving down to the locations. Bill pay will move…..that’s why they are eliminating Pcard
I say December they will announce more. I have seen meetings in a calendar about another reorg. My job is going to be doing "projects" as they give more of payroll to district managers to process
Historically the day of earnings call for 4th quarter/ye is the US layoff kickoff run. It makes my funny valentine, not.
US Layoffs historically happen in Feb. No reason to think anything different. If a layoff will happen, it will be in February. Has nothing to do with raises and bonuses. That money is already allocated in 2022 and available for management to use at their discretion. (1 bucket of money to be dispersed typically based on bell curve)
