All of you affected who are 50 +consult an attorney and get those lawsuits filed. Age discrimination is real and many lawsuits are extremely successful. Cisco has a pattern. Don't take the severance and collect unemployment and file suit. The settlement will be well worth it....

Reality check: employers do background checks so you better be sure you’ll win enough to retire because the few companies hiring the best of the best 50+ talent probably won’t be hiring you. The house does what it does because it knows the odds are in its favor.
They will LR enough young'uns to average out the age. Old hats at this.
