If so, what do you think of the commentary here?

For those for sat through tiremans town hall, it was clear by his comments and leading questions that he got some of his "why are so many people so unhappy at a wonderful company like 3M?" Insight from the comments on this website. He tried ineffectively to "correct" misconceptions about life at 3M and how we should be so happy to be loved by our taskmasters.
3M is actively censoring the site? Concerning.
@1hls, Avoid using f-words, personal insults and derogatory speech and your post should stick. It’s a privately owned website with thousands of forums similar to this one, so it’s safe to say it’s not connected to the Mother Mining or any other company people are bashing here (and leaking all kinds of info). If it was up to all those companies this forum boards wouldn’t exist at all, but they can’t do much except to report posts for ToS violation, but it won’t get nuked if the rules weren’t violated.
10% executive conference 40% other employers 15% retirees 5% communications group and the rest are plaintiff lawyers making cr-p up
Are you the spy?
Yes, 3M leadership knows about this site.
Yes, somebody at 3M is monitoring it.
Yes, they are emailing the site admins when what is written is deemed 'bad' enough.
Yes, there are some pretty good leaks on this site. (see point above)
Yes, there is a lot of utter bullsh-t on this site.
No, what is said here won't change anything with 3M leadership.
Any other questions?
The spy keeps deleting my best posts.
I doubt most of the execs read this site but I'm sure they have a scout who reviews these posts and reports back the lowlights to them.
They then use this to put more people into the vise and squeeze the dignity out of people with pleasure. The inquisition wasn't as cruel as some of these yo yos
some do and the majority don't, it's better to voice an opinion here than on our opinion surveys which are meant to be acted on but never have, the amount of tosh that comes out this weeks huddle was amazing. The common production operative is not listened to and then to be talked down to by Tire Guy, it is galling , this company once cared for its lower end employees , now all the talk is how we can do more for our customers and shareholders, give back the small things in life that mean so much for the bees, christmas bonus back, incentives not the everyday wins guff and service dinner and awards for loyalty for people who have stuck through the pandemic
One of the good things about this website is that it allows worker bees to freely express their opinion about upper management anonymously and without the fear of repercussions.
The people to whom the messages are addressed, know that they have zero credibility inside the company and most of their employees have little respect for them ! At least they got this message. When they speak to 3Mers in meetings, they know fully well, that nobody has any faith in them and people are laughing at their back.
That provides some degree of satisfaction!!!!
Tire guy was sad to hear about how we lack trust in 3M as employees (and none of us are sure we should still work there). Poor tire guy.
I do not believe Roman and Patolawala (I’m told is the 3M consigliere), would come down from Mount Pomposity to read what the common folk have to say.
I am aware of execs who have at least heard of this site.
They are above this site, meaning their heads are up their tushies!
