Electric vehicles are not reliable — yet: Consumer Reports
https://finance.yahoo.com/news/electric-vehicles-are-not-reliable-yet-consumer-reports-202238972.html?.tsrc=fin-notif

“EVs are gaining in market share, and CR has more data than ever before from its owner surveys to gauge their reliability,” Consumer Reports said. “But with the introduction of so many new models, the results are, not surprisingly, subpar.”
...
General motors did not make the Consumer Reports' top ten brands in terms of overall reliability. In less than a year, GM stock is worth less than half ($30.33 vs $67.21). Do you feel confident in the direction of the company?

Here's a thought. There are thousands of people working at GM that know exactly how well the EV design program is going. If there's a mass layoff, they may start talking.
Beyond that, there are obvious logistical problems with EVs from charging on a grid that can't support the immense power needs, sourcing of lithium and cobalt (environmental issues, child labor, slavery, etc), recycling of the batteries, cost of the battery replacement, life of the battery, cost of the EVs in a recession, lack of nationwide charging options and range anxiety, etc.
There's so much to say about all this, it's incredible. We are seeing history take place. The widespread collapse of the auto industry, it's suppliers, resellers, and so on will be epic.
Right now, the public is ignorant about the majority of these issues so the EV disaster isn't on their radar. We do know one thing - most people do not want these EVs and are passionate about it. You won't see public polls due to the politicization of EVs and "green energy".
One of the scariest threats to our nation and our industry right now is the destruction of America's energy independence and the fossil fuel industry. There is no existing green energy grid to the extent that it can replace fossil fuels. Think about it. Fossil fuel infrastructure is being systematically destroyed while only 20% of the grid is supported with green energy (wind, hydro, solar, biomass, geothermal). [1] Politicians, activist corporate board members and woke ideologues are playing chicken with our livelihoods. Even the most woke, EV fanboy knows deep down that when GM goes full zero, zero, zero the failure will be epic. By the time the failure is obvious to most, I'm afraid the cost of running and owning an old fashioned gasoline powered car will be so unsustainable (insurance, lack of parts, price of fuel) that people have no other options.

FYI: Just like "Build Back Better" was actually a slogan created by globalists at the World Economic Forum, so was Net-Zero aka zero, zero, zero. [2] The direction of our nation and many of our corporations is coming from a globalist cabal that openly calls for depopulation and the destruction of America. "You will eat the bugs. You will own nothing and like it." Enjoy the crickets and the blackouts.

OP didn't watch his own video lol.

The video is not about why they are "not viable". It's about them not being the saving grace that will solve all of humanity's ails.
