Have 100% control of the EV market. Don't buy one and this all will go away quickly!

There is not an infrastructure in place to support everyone having an EV. Are people THAT stupid?!
Because soooo many people got burned by lousy ford products and layoffs ford is in THE REAR VIEW MIRROR!
@qzz+1jJKPxWy. Wow, you really don't understand energy markets. You also don't understand the impact of government interference on markets. Sure, some people like EVs. Some people like designer label clothes.
Have you considered the radical idea that some people buy EVs because they like them? If people enjoy pineapple pizza, candy corn, or black licorice, let them enjoy those things. The more EVs there are, the less demand for gasoline, and the lower the price per gallon. Remember when the pandemic first hit and people stopped driving? The cost of a barrel of oil was in the negatives. Some folks around here are acting like it's the end of the world just because part of the market consists of vehicles powered by domestically produced electricity instead of imported juice from politically unstable regions. Yes, each have their advantages and disadvantages, and the roar of a V12 engine compared to an electric motor is the difference between watching a movie at a cinema vs your phone, but the us vs. them mentality on this website of EV vs ICE has the same level of maturity as kids on a playground getting into fights over whether Nintendo is better than Playstation.
“Tesla model 3 was best selling luxury vehicle in the world and generated over 10% profit. What am I missing?”
The fact it is a subcompact /compact sized vehicle that has base starting price of $41,000 - which is nearly $20,000 more than a similar sized ICE car that likely had better quality and longer range on a tank of gas….not to mention is in the same price range (in rear drive or AWD models) as many three row SUV or mini vans that are far larger and offer much more versatility. Other than that, you did not miss anything really important to most people that but a vehicle living in the real world.
@oky+1jJKPxWy. The fact that Elon Musk is brilliant, and Bill Ford and Farley are not.
