Roman and Patolawala (the 3M consigliere) should immediately be removed from their posts and terminated. What they are doing is a total disgrace.
MR and tire boy announced the operating model is undergoing an exciting change, i.e. they’re reverting to the operating model prior to Advance 3M, thus retreating to the previous position. Henceforth known as Retreat 3M, colloquially.
An attempt was made by MR to spin it as the next step after A3M, however, us non Flavor Aid drinkers see through the torrent of b u l l s h i t.

Most of what they talked about was going to a global supply chain by BO (if I’m remembering right). Retreat 3M is a tongue in cheek name for it, poking fun at A3M of the past.
What team were you part of? Hopefully severance helps and good luck as you look for something else
I just got laid off and lost system access. Can someone explain what 3M Retreat is? And what other teams were impacted with layoffs?
Tire man gets off on laying people off. All these changes (CI organization, Retreat 3M, etc) are “exciting” - his words. I have a hard time believing anyone who is impacted finds these changes to be exciting.

I really wish the comments/questions on teams live events weren’t so heavily moderated. Yes man comms VP would have a hard time keeping his big business man smile going though.

I was not expecting this - was guessing other way around (EO disappears).
Now wondering what happens to all the redundant SVPs/VPs/Directors between EO and BG.
