So, I saw someone asking about bonuses… but how many people would be interested in the salary/bonus ranges by pay grade? I have some slightly out of date info I could share there. They adjusted the pay scales up a tiny bit a little bit ago, but this is still very close to accurate.

Wouldn't it be nice to see elitism addressed by AIG? Instead we divert attention to any and every cause that doesn't address the problem at this company.
Asking for a coworker…Feel like he might be overpaid but can someone let me know?
$1.4M Salary
$4M Target STI (but he always gets 200% of target, regardless of how we do, he just has them change the metric we get rated by every year and BlackRock, Vanguard, and every other institutional investor seem to always forget)!
He doesn’t actually improve performance, but instead just buys back tons of shares and cuts down on headcount by outsourcing everything. He also spends money sponsoring Women’s golf tournaments so he can still do golf for work but say we are promoting diversity.
I’m 99% sure he got this job because his dad was good buddies with BD.
Does he have a good deal?
I would really like to know the starting pay grade for trainers. Anybody know? In Texas.
The ranges are accurate from at least 2014 until when they adjusted them a few years ago. 2019 maybe? Either way, the ranges were adjusted up, so you are probably further from the limit of your range, if anything. It’s supremely crooked how they keep most people at the bottom of the ranges.
Any ideas if the LTI is given as company stocks, cash, or a mix of both
Of course I have no way to know if the numbers posted are accurate but as a NY 22 I've been told in the past that I was at the top of my salary band justifying little to no increase. If the numbers are right I'm not even close to the top.
I worked at AIG based in NYC 7 years ago and the range for G22 posted here isn’t really any different from what ot was when I left.
I know the ranges changed slightly a year or two after I left so this is as accurate as I can provide.
The range posted before was for the middle market, 4. Something like NYC must be up toward the top, given the cost of living. This is a few years out of date. You can find the market you're assigned in workday in compensation details. It'll be something like US-5. Here's the range for 8, which is the highest.

Other peer companies are very transparent with their comp ranges, often putting the details right on their internal company websites for all to see. I even worked at a company where your annual comp statement said what percentile your post merit increase salary landed you at in the grade range. It is also strange how the titles really have no bearing on the grade level at AIG/CRBG. In some areas being an SVP is completely equivalent to a VP in another area, while a Sr MD could be equivalent to a VP in one area, or SVP in another.
Can whomever posted the ranges also post which location this is for?
I wonder what ranges are for nyc?
I'm sure this is location specific.
AIG is no longer close to competitive with the competition. You make more as an UW tech at CNA than you do as a middle level UW at AIG.
There are multiple ranges for the US, ranging from 1-8. This is to adjust for different markets. The example given above is from the middle, 4. Grades 24 and above are eligible for LTI, which is Long Term Incentive. I believe that's not as regular as STI, but I don't know the interval. The ranges have since been adjusted upward slightly since this information came out.
Left to right. Grade, Base Pay Minimum, Base Pay Maximum, STI Minimum, STI Maximum, LTI Minimum, LTI Maximum

In certain departments you can see everyone’s pay grades based on the job title.
Yes, I would be very interested in the salary/bonus by pay grade. This site is anonymous, so the HR people monitoring the sight have no say.
Coming soon due to NY laws, job posting will have salary expectations
Doesn’t really matter if you don’t know folks grade level. Internal emails have made clear sharing that kind of info is a termination offense.
Other companies are much more clear about who pays what. At AIG, one may get a decent starting salary, but forget prospect of raises and bonuses. This is why so many blokes with less experience and tenure are in fact making more than even their managers. Guess the want the rest of us with knowledge to leave too. Think I will oblige them.
