Seeing my colleague get the axe “first hand”. I can only say it’s ruthless.
Employees are just numbers here.

Roman and his consigliere Patolawala whose total compensation is $9.4 million per year, are concerned about timing. Specifically, this is the time of year whereby layoffs garner the most attention, frequently raising the price of the stock. It matters not whether there is a vetted and well substantiated business plan to justify the cuts. The only thing that matters is the money, and the money, and the money. You are seeing the execution of the American business model; as disgraceful as it is. 💵👎🏻☠️

Heard the announcement to the affected APAC employees will begin this week of 14Nov. Not really a good time for their departing Christmas season. Thanks to M&M leadership.

Yes, as a leader I was told to give HR and my second level leader a name by Friday. That was a few years ago as I'm retired now. But yes exactly how it works. You have no more than a few days once you've been notified. It's all a phone call too. They don't want any emails for tracking.

It’s cold out there.. plants are told to put up names. Sad for APAC who contributed so much for the pandemic response.

Mike and Monish should be the ones to be laidoff. they dont do anything but cut. their contribution to 3m is to cut workers headcount.. I was once proud being a 3Mer, now I hate it.
