I personally know 2 people who were RIFed from NetApp - two different years. Both of them found out in a 1-1 mtg on a Tues. morning with their manager. The meeting was out of cycle (not part of the normal meeting cadence). I think that NetApp will most likely not RIF anyone during the holidays. My guess is that no more layoffs until next May. In May 2022 NetApp RIFed quite a few people b/c the packages included the 60 day WARN act - so they were ahead of all of the lay offs that have been happening in the tech sector this fall. NetApp keeps everything on the down low - so no announcement ever went out but I know of several people that were impacted in May...

It could come at any time of the day.
If your manager schedules a mtg with you on a Tuesday at 8am or 8:30am then you should be worried. They will not just shut off access to your email without a mtg with your mgr.
