Walmart tells the public that they are not open on Thanksgiving, just to give the illusion that they care about their associates. Everyone that was scheduled on Thanksgiving now has to make that day up, even if it is a scheduled day off.
In our store, people are quitting left and right, and the new people they brought in this year are seeing how they treat long-term associates. I had a 19-year-old stop me just to tell me thanks for helping him, but he is going back to work where he was, far too many hateful people here he said.
He worked 3 days. The worst company on earth to work for is Walmart.
