Thread regarding Belk layoffs

How are you “coded”? Is “one belk” gone for good?

Some employees are coded just as sales people, others as operations, others as commission sales? Be aware that as of Recently you don’t have to complete any job tasks outside of your job description, in other words, you are “coded” to what you were hired to do. The “one belk” fiasco has lost its luster as countless employees and managers have jumped ship because of it, is Belk slowly going back to its old ways? How is your store operating?

I am fulfillment lead and I am coded for GENERAL Sales which makes no sense. So there are days that 1 person that comes in that is actually for the floor and the other 2 are operations. Which makes picking a nightmare. I have said something about it but that is just how the schedule is written is the response.
