We need more corporate cuts

They do nothing and we do everything and still they are the ones who get the high pay and who are rarely laid off. I've said it before and I'll say it again, 90 percent of corporate is useless fat that needs to be trimmed. If the leadership wants to save money, that's what they need to concentrate on.

Home office does layoffs every quarter. If you are over 40 or not a teacher’s pet, be prepared. They are coming for your job.

They’ve got a bunch 0f college grads turning the wrenches that couldn’t grab their butts with both hands.

And they have senior leadership that do nothing but go to meetings because they’re afraid it might get found out that they don’t do any work.

The home office is a toxic environment. White males are referred to as pasty white males and all decisions are based on race. There are quotas for hiring, promotion and salaries based on race. If you are not a white male, you don’t have to do any work. There have been instances where non white males ran businesses on the side in which company resources were used, which is theft. Management was aware and looked the other way. There are no ethics at Walmart, just political games.

Actually, doing layoffs at home office doesn’t really help unless you cut out the shameful and horrible managers in leadership positions. Believe me, Bentonville is full of id--ts. Id--ts that work for id--ts. Managers and senior managers that could not make it in the real world. Directors that do not have a clue. Total ineptitude on a massive scale. I was never so happy as the day I left Bentonville and saw NWA disappear in my rear view mirror. But it will never change. It’s blunder after blunder. They breed stupidity into their management team. It would honestly be better if they simply fired everyone over level 74 and drew straws for anything above that.

Not at my store. We have people assigned to bait and trap the cancers. We run a tight ship here. Any call ins are severely punished.

What a lie. Management doesn’t give a cr-p about anything. They hold NO ONE accountable and have favorites who can call in as much as they want and approve all their absences but those who work hard and show up every day….these people get crapped on.
What a horrible way to run a store. Management is pathetic and is a joke.

Anyone who whines or complains is considered a CANCER and weak. We can’t have that kind of person in our company. Anyone at my store who is a CANCER that hurts morale is deadweight and sniffed out by staff. We have a few people assigned to sniff out the whiners by baiting them into complaining. Then they report what they hear to management.

I just left the home office. There is no job security. They have layoffs regularly and if your boss doesn’t think you’re up to standard you are cut. As someone that worked in the field during college I’ll tell you from experience you are a lot safer.
