You can play the blame game all you want. There is a saying that started during the Presidential campaign of the senior President Bush...."its the economy stupid". That sums it all up in 4 words. Bed Bath & Beyond was one of my favorite places to shop. Clean, well lit, and a great product. Bed Bath & Beyond is a "nice to have" location. Not a "need to have". As the economy continues to "tank" conditions will only worsen until we make a major course correction. Though we are hurting, we are not hurting enough. Give it some more time and we will. The recent news on FedEx tells it all. A significant loss, a decrease in delivery volume. When people have to make a choice....food....rent/mortgages....energy vs a new trash can, bed spread pillows, scented candles the choice is easy. I feel for the poor associates who are in this dire condition. Bills to pay, runaway inflation, the Holidays right around the corner. God Bless you all.
Lmao MFT does not warrant a news report. She is gone was announced this morning on my teams call. No one gives a sh1t! she passed out the cool aid and the sdm and DM’s that drank and the are still around. The ones who didn’t are gone. She is just another target reject that thought a bunch of mall rats knew better. She sees the ship sinking and jumped off leaving irrefutable damage in her wake. Good riddance!
I assume this post is in reference to VP of retail Mary Farrell Tarbox. According to MyHR she is still with the company. I also was unable to find any news reports regarding her departure.

Good riddance. She was terrible . She probably resigned before she was going to be fired. I think all of MT’s crew is gone. So sad that one of them took their own life. It’s just retail people move on.
