Instead of running the business for long-term success and promoting experienced employees with good people skills to management positions, this leadership only cares about short-term gains. They keep using layoffs to pad the numbers and promoting sycophants who wouldn't know how to pour water out of a boot with the instructions on the heel. That's why we are doing as badly as we are.

@slm+1j8olVH0 not necessarily a layoff but contractors have been cut left and right, it is a quick way to reduce your overhead without having to layoff actual employees.
This however should be a warning since if things were going well there would be no need to cut contractors. I have been a few places were we cut contractors and it was soon followed by hiring freezes and/or layoffs. Just take a look at several of the other large companies, they are following that path right now.
The keep using layoffs to pad numbers? They haven't laid anyone off in 2 years
