This week will see another round of cuts, ge-z it's painful to watch, just wondering if my name will be one of them, only six years into my career and keep thinking about the interview I had and the chances i had to maybe be happier and more successful, I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but I really am annoyed to see the senior management making a complete fluff of this company

Did 3M Center walk anybody out to the gate today? That would be so Mike to have a big get up at the HQ complex while sending long time loyal employees packing.
What has happened at 3M is one of the pitfalls of a capitalist society driven by investment firms and wall street. I'm a big fan of capitalism but what has happened these days with ZERO accountability for CEOs and CFOs has enabled this toxic environment for employees. Other companies struggle with some of the same underlying cultural issues that 3M is showing but NOT to the same degree or magnitude.
If you hired in 6 years ago, 3M was still a decent place to work, but nowhere near as good as the 1980s and 90s when it had real leaders who cared about people more than quarterly eps.
Mike and Monish have destroyed what was a declining culture and turned the place into something Hollywood should make another film on. Remember greed is good? That's the M&M boys to a tee. Add a few more GE hires to management, and the workplace culture is more toxic than all of the PFAS 3M has polluted the world with. Glad I'm retired or my sanity would be in danger.
