I just want to say that I was a SM and with the company for nearly 15 years. I’ve moved on and find that I’m more relaxed, work less hours, make more money and am overall happier.
There is a life after BBB. It took me a very long time to find the right job but I kept looking. Maybe you can too.

What kind of work did you move to may I ask. Did you stay in retail management or is there hope for others to escape retail ?

I've been with the company nearly 30 years and now am dealing with my store closing. They just moved the closing up from January to December more or less to sc--w everyone out of their 401k match. I am so looking forward to getting out I'm going to forego the severance pay. I'll take a lifeboat rather than a floating door from this sinking ship as soon as I can.
