The end of the year layoffs are generally huge at AIG, since AIG is looking for good end of the year figures. It has been quiet so far this quarter, but obviously something is in the works. Does anyone have info about layoffs in the next 3 months?

They just asked my dep. to fill a spreadsheet to see if and how much backlog of work do you have. They do this only before layoffs, because generally they don't care at all if you are overworked
They are not replacing anyone leaving, isn't that enough?
You are correct. AIG generally likes to wish its employees a happy holiday season with a fresh round of layoffs. I would expect some moves just in time for Thanksgiving. The recent CAT losses may expedite the shrinkage.
