Thread regarding 3M layoffs

From 135B to 60B market cap in 4 years

Lost over half the company value, some 75B in market cap. How much do the veterans want anyway. Looks like they should have sued when shares were 259. So sad seeing the GESPP depress to record lows.

Long time 3M employee here
I only managed to sell off 30% of my GESPP at above $200/share.
For the remaining it is in deep losses :(

1980s hire here. The GESPP was always a great deal from 1980s until about 3 years ago, when Mike took charge of the S S 3M titanic. Pi---d off I didn't sell when inge had goosed the shares to almost 260 with billions in borrowing to buy back shares.

Not sure which is more depressing, my 401k balance change this year or GESPP.

I know of many 3M long timer who never sold their shares. Must be real painful to see their GESPP to be in the Red despite contributing to so many years of their working life.
