entire segment marketing team already quiet quit. They made their powerpoints for the year have shelved them and are now just celebrating the sales teams wins as if they had any impact at all. $300k a year for cheerleading not bad

While you quiet quit I via “work your way” I recommend getting a second full time job. I’ve been pulling in $200k the last two years. Never felt better.

💩I politely suggest you maintain a list of your department employees and leadership team, and send a birthday card a few days in advance of their birthday. You’ll appear to be the only engaged employee.

Maybe it's because I was laid off from my first job out of college amidst restructuring and then again a few years later, but I've never felt the desire to go "above and beyond" for a company. Sure, I may work outside normal hours sometimes, but I balance it out.

They don't pay me enough NOT to "quiet quit" as it's supposedly defined.

I spent 20+ years going above and beyond for this company, delivering solid results quite successfully. Last several years it was recognized with "middle of the road" EC&DP ratings and flat out insulting annual merit increases. It sickens me to think of the times with friends and family that I missed out on because of my loyalty and dedication to 3M. I no longer sacrifice my work life balance. 3M sees me as nothing more than a number. It is a sad fall from grace for 3M.

People use to work out of their volunteer zone to help the company grow. It is very difficult to continue that when that is not rewarded.

The message now, seems to be stay in your lanes, meet your production quotas - like machines in a factory.

It is hard for a machine to care.

I know I certainly am. I don't owe this place anything but what I'm paid for.
