I guess you need to be from a wealthy family and/or having your mortgage paid already…what gives you the financial independence to cope with all the uncertainty.

Sick sigma black belts seem to have some kind of royalty status in 3M.

Mcnerney was the worst thing that ever happened to this company, until Mike. He brought in a plague of GE management style, focused on quarterly earnings only, and implementing a demented focus on management by fear. If you won't promise a 20 percent cut in costs, your successor will.

My only complaint about Desi is that he didn't groom an internal successor and left the board shopping for glitz and glitter. Enter james. As bad as he was, the other GE guys immelt and nardelli were even worse.

3M won't even see 225 years with bankruptcy sadly an option on the horizon. What a shame and what a mess.

If you are not the smartest, best looking, hardest working, most charming, there is someone else who is.

Below jg15, you will need the following: docile, compliant, tight-lipped, masochist, amenable, delirious, and an overall glutton for punishment.

For lg15 and up: arrogance, bulletproof, condescending, woke, tight fisted, hallucinating, and an overall pr--k.
