HR are in cahoots with management. I personally know from experience HR ratted me out to my mgt about a grievance I had. Really it wasn’t a grievance but I was seeking out hard copies of my personal employment related information ask to remain anonymous and that my questions remain anonymous - they did not. Within a week my mgr, my 2nd line mgr and my 3rd line mgr all individually contacted to meet with me 1x1. All of them said the same thing - that I crossed a line asking for this information, etc. In fact I asked two of them for it and they pointed me to contact HR. I was shocked that it was such a big deal. I asked my mgrs why is this a problem? What line did I cross? They didn’t have a response. Not one of them, but they were definitely upset with me. It was also heavily implied I was close to some sort of legal violation for asking for my own personal information?! Wtf? I had to remind all three of them that actually I am legally entitled to such information - what’s the problem?
Bottom line. Don’t trust HR. They are not on our side, but they really want us to believe that they are. They aren’t…
Also I want warn everyone on here about the surveys. I know multiple people that have gotten in trouble for giving input on those surveys. While they are portrayed and presented as being Anonymous- they are not. Which I think most know but I am surprised by how many don’t. It’s another HR trick or being snakes. It never states that it is Anonymous even though they are dressed up to appear like they are. I know more then 3 people who got on probation or disciplinary watch due to their inputs. DONT TRUST HR.
