Walmart, CVS face trial for putting sham homeopathic products next to real meds

Pharmacy giants CVS and Walmart will have to face trials over claims that placing ineffective homeopathic products alongside legitimate over-the-counter medicines on store shelves deceives consumers into thinking that the pseudoscientific products are akin to evidence-based, Food and Dr-g Administration-approved dr-gs.

What can I say? I have a good memory. The guy doing the herbal medicine presentation had all the credibility of Mike Lindell and came off a a carney/snake oil salesman from 100 years ago. Also, one of the RM's made a joke about eating a prostnut butter and jelly sandwich for lunch which make that stick in my mind. It was the same YBM where J. Martin (VP of Pharmacy Division at the time) sliced his own finger with a device he was using to pop balloons. He was a real winner. I actually do not remember what the balloons were supposed to represent, but "the competition" is my guess. Anyway, watching Martin bleed all over the place because he sliced his own finger was funny enough to make a guy remember quite a lot. You can believe me or not. My post is truthful and my opinions regarding how the company operates are backed up by a lot of experience with them.

Ask me about Tom Coughlin. Now there's a good story.

The Queen of England had a homeopathic doctor that never left her. Its interesting that that people survived without money making dr-gs up until 1800's? the only problem with walmart selling natural dr-gs is that they are the cheapest they can get to make the highest profit. My hats off to the master BS who recalls such detail after 20 years. No doubt corporate who never has your best interest.

Lol. Tell me you got 4 doses of the stroke poke, or the clot shot, without telling me you got 4 doses of the stroke poke or clot shot.

It's true. That stuff is all high margin, so Walmart doesn't care. I was at a YBM about 20 years or so ago when all the quack herbals were first making a splash. They actually had some nutjob there pushing echinacea, St. John's Wort, gingko biloba, and other unproven junk that is useless in the real world. He even had some homemade remedy he called "prostnut butter" that had saw palmetto and some other garbage in it that was supposed to give old men the prostate function of an 18-year-old. Anyway, his job was to get market managers to push their pharmacists to promote sales of all of this cr-p because it had an amazing margin.
