I know this is not a popular opinion, however... I really don't understand why those who say they work the bare minimum and spend most of their time updating their resumes, later get angry at the company's decision to outsource the workforce. Isn't that a bit strange?

It always much easier to go out on ones own terms than let go. So either they’re mad because they figured they still had a few weeks or most like they got comfy doin bare minimum. So now they have to get back into actually work again.
I think it's a natural reaction. Anyone who can read the writing knows the leaders of the company are out for themselves. It's pretty clear it's a lost cause and the death spiral has begun with Mullet Boy's announcement.
Not strange, that is what happens when morale is low.
