Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Constant enormous pressure

I wouldn't be here today if it had always been like that. What I am experiencing now is not even micromanagement, it is worse than micromanagement.

  • How are we supposed to work under so much pressure?
  • Are they aware that the risk of making mistakes is much higher when employees are exposed to so much stress, or do they not care about that at all?

Yes, this is normal business practice to reduce headcount. It is deliberate, purposeful, and by design. Time to move on. These are not normal working conditions. Take care of yourself - exercise, prayer, family.

It's an intentional way to get you so fed up that you leave. No severance pay = more operating leverage that they can mention on earnings calls.

This is the new way of making employees quit or resign instead of firing you. This company has been doing this shlit for years. I am experiencing it too but I don't give a rate azz. I am still half azzing this job everyday. This place is not worth stressing for at all.
