Nobody is interested in improvements - all they want is to preserve the status quo and to have a cheap workforce that doesn't rock the boat. If you're not cheap enough, you're gone. If you dare think outside the box, you're gone. If you don't want to be used and disrespected, you're gone.

Can confirm everything OP said. I am executive level and I can’t look myself in the mirror. Immense pressure from the C~suite. I’m on my way out. I cannot justify the things we are going.
