Unfortunately Moni is the leading candidate for leading healthcare as CEO, it seems now . Why ???
It seems when he was hired from GE Healthcare ( I suspect that an offer was made or promised that once 3M spins out 3M Healthcare, which it did 2 years after Moni joined as CFO) that he will be given a plum ( CEO) position in the new spin out.
Moni has already hired his chosen finance guys ( at least two now...surely more in the near future) from GE Healthcare and they are SVP level people. He is building his team, slowly but surely.
Good luck to 3M healthcare spin off with Moni as the chief ( well not that there is much to look forward to for the Remain Co...or whatever is left after the ongoing wildfire is over in 3M)
Need to have a look at the selection Board , who has the GE ties ? Who is deciding. ? Is the board credible ?

That another GE disciple has been brought on board only reinforces my decision to give the BARE MINIMUM while interviewing for external jobs.
Does 3M realize other companies exist in the world besides GE? What is with the GE obsession? Have they seen GE stock?
