Anyone know if we are getting the 10% off food discount this year?

Is Walmart going to give some nice raises to stores front end employees (who earn least wage rate) , as inflation is making life miserable! Associates need inflated cost of living adjustments Too!!! Managers and above get fat bonuses but front end employees need Too!!!
Former Walmart employee here. Thank heavens I made it out of that craphole. They are a total joke.
I now work at Dorothy Lane Market, a gourmet grocery store in the Dayton, OH market. Three stores total. DLM employees get a 20% discount. Yes, the food and drink they specialize in is very pricey but they also have some of the normal grocery offerings that you can find in any Kroger, Walmart, etc that are comparable in price. I do most of my shopping there now, and go to Kroger or Meijer for this or that.
The work culture there cannot be more night and day from Walmart. As far as I understand their specialty department employees take culinary classes to hone their skills. This company actually tries to make good associates. It's not perfect but at least they give a damn here.
And it is busy as he-l during the day. The clientele is much more upper middle class and will spend the money for the high quality food.
I hope you guys one day find something similar in your respective markets. Your body and sanity will appreciate it.

Walmart is expensive Aldi and target have better prices and better quality produce and veggies.
10% of a grossly inflated price leaves a grossly inflated price. A wmt associate though he brings home the same amount has had his purchasing power decreased. This is done through inflation and greed. Get use to shopping around. One stop shopping is no more at wmt like everyday low prices are.
