I wish I had left a year or so ago when our competitors were desperate for top talent like me and throwing high pay and sign-on bonuses at candidates. Now we're back to where were before: few good open positions, no responses after interviews, and lowball offers when you manage to find something that works. I hate I missed out on a good thing because I was too coward to leave then. Oh well, back to long lunches and day trading on my phone.

Whooooooooooo SH-T??
OP here. Just landed a 2nd job interviewer with a “major”. Looks like my top talent is on the move. Gonna leave the best of the “bottom” talent here as our CEO knows how to be the best “bottom”.
Well, just enjoy all things nice and pumpkin spice! Our market is incredible. I don’t care how little I make or how much my job sucks, you can’t get a better pumpkin spice latte anywhere IMHO.
Well, not sure if that’s the case. I recently came in to interview for “Reservoir Analyst II”. I thought it went pretty well, but I had to cut it short because my irritable bowel syndrome kicked in and I had to blow it out in the lobby restroom. I haven’t received a call back from the hiring manager, but otherwise I’m still interested. What say you, Southwest?
