I'm going ahead an accepting a new position outside of Citrix. What happens to my unused PTO days? I've been looking on Workday and Backstage and cannot find the policy that explains it. I'm wondering if they pay it all out, a portion of it, or none of it.

Check your employment contract. Mine says I will be paid for unused PTO. It is all pro-rated. If you leave end Nov you get 11 months worth of PTO, whatever you haven’t used out of that 11 months would be paid as cash.
Best plan take your PTO and then make the last day our day your return from PTO.
If you are outside of CA, seems like you get 50%. In CA, full payout for your accrued PTO. That's why they are instituting the "unlimited vacation" policy, which means no accruals. Yeah go ahead and try taking unlimited vacation. They will convert you to unlimited vacation.
Left very recently and they paid out my unused PTO at 50%.
Hope they save a lot of money by only paying half the pto employees earned.
Aside from company policy, here are the laws by state: https://www.paycor.com/resource-center/articles/pto-payout-laws-by-state/.
Employer benefits may differ. Best to check employment contracts against current company policy.
Depends where you are. For US non-Californians, it's half of your accrued PTO. I believe the state of California requires them to pay in full. Probably some other states with good worker protections do too, but definitely not Florida or Georgia. No idea about outside the US.
I checked about a week ago and found it in the pto policy. I believe they will pay half of your accrued time unless you're in a state where they have to pay it in full
Citrix used to pay at least 1 week of PTO.. not sure how it will be with the new owners
should pay out.
should pay out.
