Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Is McKinsey still snooping around, looking for synergies?

3M has paid this company tens of millions IMHO to look for ways to:

  1. Streamline the business processes
  2. Eliminate non value added work
  3. Optimize manpower deployment
  4. Empower employees to take on more duties, for personal enrichment
  5. Maximize shareholder returns

Not sure if you've had the "pleasure" of working with this esteemed team of consultants, but wherever they visit, within a year the workforce is "optimized" below LG14 to reflect the competitiveness or lack thereof of our operations.

Feel free to share any "enlightening" encounters.

Cheers!

McKinsey is a fraudulent enterprise pretending to be a leading consultant firm.

Whatever 3M paid them for this bogus consulting advice needs to be clawed back.

Bring back the hard working 3Mers and dump consultants.

McKinsey Settles for Nearly $600 Million Over Role in Opi--d Crisis

The consulting firm has reached agreements with 49 states because of its sales advice to dr-gmakers, including Purdue Pharma, the manufacturer of OxyContin.

McKinsey & Company, the consultant to blue-chip corporations and governments around the world, has agreed to pay nearly $600 million to settle investigations into its role in helping “turbocharge” opi--d sales, a rare instance of it being held publicly accountable for its work with clients.

The firm has reached a $573 million agreement with attorneys general in 47 states, the District of Columbia and five territories, according to a court filing in Massachusetts on Thursday. Separate deals were announced in Washington State, for $13 million, and in West Virginia, for $10 million. Nevada, not party to the agreements, will continue to pursue its opi--d investigation, according to the attorney general’s office.
