I recently spoke with a person who apparently plans to stay here until the very last day, until the company gets rid of him. That's so sad. I understand the arguments that jobs are no longer secure anywhere, it is impossible to expect a long term career opportunity almost everywhere, but why suffer in uncertainty while waiting to become jobless? There are many opportunities out there! I am writing this because I want to encourage everyone not to wait here for the last day.

That’s what I am doing. I don’t need the money. I like my job I get left alone to do it and do it well I make more on social security than I do working 35 hours a week. Fortunately the jobs I had before this paid well
People assume the worst from a new job and often get something much better.
