Thread regarding MetLife Inc. layoffs

Stop asking me for PAC money

You didn't even give raises to match inflation and now you want me to give you money back to lobby politicians? Stick it where the sun doesn't shine, MK. I'd rather spend that money on union dues than Met's political pet projects.

Oh look another PAC email. Maybe you should give out good raises if you want us to give money to your lobbyists.

I have been with the company less than 6 mos and I thght this was the most ridiculous thing to mix politics with work. And if we did want to donate, why wouldn't we donate directly. Make this make sense!

I wonder what the actual participation rate for this PAC is. I can't imagine anyone below AVP donating.

Imagine that. Giving people a raise that is 5-10% below inflation (ie now you make about 10% less than you did last year) then hitting you up for donations. These id--t "leaders" need to f right off.

There are plenty of useless AVP and above that have disposable income for the PAC...that's their job security.

P.S. and remember, don't give money to any state office candidates without asking MetLife first.
