Even if you're still working, please set up alerts on LinkedIn (and/or your fav job site) for keywords. I have 6 or so set up and get job listings for at least 10 jobs from each keyword, every day. It's free and it's proactive.

your statement about Microsoft doesn't make any sense. they aren't selling anything so why not be proactive?
Linked In is owned by Microsoft, so they can sell your data and sell you a subscription.🤡
So just say leave Ford. If you not learning and your value goes up 3 % a year I agree.
