So why are we posting about this Roy Rogers?
A cowboy that has seen quiet quitting most of my career. Not a new thing; I was in the business 40 years and saw staff do just enough work not to get canned. Many were let go in the deep cut layoffs but some survived. Pathetic to even give people like this oxygen in a blog like this. Good management will either motivate people like this to contribute or they will get their severance package and start looking for work in the retail sector. Such a waste.
Who is “we” cowboy?
Why are we posting about this.. If this is happening, they will be caught and be dealt with. Not my first rodeo and i've seen these actors removed and life goes on. What a stupid waste of electrons. Good Luck!
Little people like @ 6kpt+1iyhmjWi love to post anonymous comments about good they are at cheating the company (Oxy here but could be any company they “work” for). They are untrustworthy cheats and liars and if you are friends with one, know that they will eventually cheat you too because they only care about themselves. Although there’s a lot of them out there, it’s best to avoid them once you identify them. And teach your kids not to be like them.
The Oxy office is probably no different than in other companies in the post Covid hybrid environment.
I surf the net, long telephone calls with friends and family, workout, show a few co-worker muppets the underside of a greyhound, go for a long lunch, I eat cake, play with my trading account, watch YouTube’s and I bank serious coin. Life is 😊 fantastic! No way am I quitting this, banking it and loving life!

Everyone is Quiet Quitting
It is hard to really know who is getting work done during the days we are in the office, since maybe half of the offices are really with people inside.
Bike ride this morning, Kayaking this afternoon.... Found lots of grease during my tenure... Good Luck!

A retiree?? My net worth doubled overnight when I took my COC. Living where I want, have time to do what I want... Last thing that I'm worried about is the dividend. Good Luck!
Don't assume this is an active employee. It could be a retiree still fuming about the dividend. They post snarky stuff like this just to remind us their retirement isn't what they expected.
@yhh+1iyhmjWi I am sure your co-workers appreciate you putting forth such effort. Think about them if you can't find it within yourself to work for what the company is paying you to do. People like you are a waste of time for the company to employ, and it is a shame they just don't out right fire you. You are also the prime example of someone that will ruin WFH for the rest of us since you need to be looked over hourly.
