I was a long term employee. I was driving in my car and saw what looked like a closed agency. I am in a MAJOR metropolitan area (got this company their growth results). An old, aged sign in a location was not taken down and in effect looks like our company is leaning toward being out of business. This was truly sad to me. (Still care about company and and a major stockholder). When there were agency changes, there were people in support departments who cared about the BRAND and handled appropriately and timely. I have been associated with Allstate since 1969 thorough family and my own career. Seeing this was sad that the ALLSTATE BRAND could get to this point. We treasured being one of the “most identified” BUT never this way!! THIS is now YOUR legacy. I have been gone sadly for two years and if I was there this would not happen!

Thanks, Glenn, that was touching.
75% of agencies for sale aren’t for sale
That explains why 2000 agents are either selling or taking TPP this quarter
Never seen it this bad
The zoomers and millenials care not for the generations that built this country. Grandma and Grandpa were around for more than just changing your diapers. Allstate prospered and had market leadership during the boomer and Greatest Generation era. Sadly like Sears, Allstate will become extinct not due to gramps but corporate greed, poor leadership decisions and the inability to modernize their crumbling infrastructure.
Certain things matter. Talent is knowing what those “things” are. Or you are just being stupid.
You responders are stupid and simple minded. Why you are where you are…and are not. Can’t see important.
Time to move along gramps, this may come as a shock but the billion dollar corporation don’t care
Offices close- that’s just a fact of business. Get over it
Remember the logo, “Kenmore solid as Sears.”
Now it should be, “Allstate…solid as Sears.”
