For the worker bees of the company ,I.e. production ..there is a Voice of Employee Survey starting next week, be honest in your appraisal of your managers as you can sign their exit forms if they are poor, just saying, good luck

When I worked at the M’s the division survey results on year focused on wanting better talent management (i.e. less favoritism, politics and comp increase processes that reward ALL) and the HR guy installed a very expensive learning SaaS and asked that all employees spend a few hours a week developing their career. The employees do not use it. It doesn’t give a better position for a job or preferred candidacy. The boys club still runs the show. An old colleague was eating 🍿 reading it off to me as it unfolded online.
Survey responses will say the same. Bad morale, no faith in leadership, silos, under resourced, dying culture, questions about why senior women are fleeing then we will get success theater.
I gave honest feedback on exit and was account disabled. It was very lightly toned towards here’s the things that I “think could improve the future.” So watch what you put your name to.
My colleague (that was safe) has sent me here to read these threads. This is all interesting.
To answer the post that asks why are there surveys after surveys.....
The answer is that management continues to do this until they get responses/results that are to their liking. That way, they can say that everything is hunky-dorey.
It’s crazy to think anything is taken seriously! So much said .. and we repeat again.. rotten remain !
Why are there surveys after surveys?
Will they be serious to act on it?
