Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

This is a huge mistake

BBBY will lose much more than it will gain with its latest move. All the stores have been having issues keeping people for obvious reasons, with the majority of locations being like revolving doors when it comes to employees. Full-time positions are the only thing that made sure there were always at least a few people who knew what they were doing. Cutting so many of those and relying on part-timers to take over that role is a disaster waiting to happen. BBBY is about to go from bad to worse.

You got that right. In last in the building that knows anything. As soon as I step out today, they're up the creek without a paddle. My FedEx driver is pi---d and even said he might ask to change his route because he doesn't want to have to deal with the bs.

It does no good if the full timers are gold bricking and being lazy. This is one thing that got you into this mess. You tenured the wrong people and some of them took advantage of that. But I will say that if the newbies have any brains, they will stay away.
