Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Is this finally when we see consequences and accountability?

Times up.

Anyone think the execs read this stuff? I’ve been told they do lurk LinkedIn

Interesting that they get paid that much for 4 virtual visits a year. As someone who interacts with them, I can tell you they do nothing. Just sit around the table and congratulate each other on their successes. Slip in a few key sound bytes to pretend they care. It is a purely ceremonial board that approved a 5 million raise for MR during the pandemic.

It is beyond time for him to go. His incompetence is stunning. Why does he still have a job? What does our board of directors even do for $200k per year? Things are way out of control with very little hope in sight. How bad do things need to get before those at the top have to pay a price for their mismanagement?

We need to be fair about a few things and put them in context.
The previous CEO COO combo was the origin of many issues, including the overwhelming channel stuffing which caused the share price to go to an artificial level. So let's not forget the negative contributions of those two thugs. We are still paying the price.
Then came MR, unsuited to the job from the get go. His then incompetent and slippery CFO quit after realizing he was out of his depth. Then we got the current CFO, who could not have imagined getting this job in his wildest dreams. I'm not sure what more toxic, forever chemicals (PFAS) or him. The number of bloopers under his watch (tax evasion, AIP changes, manipulations to bolster share price, superficial audits, DISASTROUS IT strategy, etc.) deserve an award for most incompetent. The previous head of legal was also serf serving and self promoting. He has moved on to bigger and will now make their lives miserable.

So if we find ourselves in quicksand, its because of execs that lack competence and who have NEVER been held accountable. The really sad part is that they never will be held accountable (and they secretly know that).

It's almost like Moni is running the show and using Mike as a puppet to hide behind. Both have to go or things won't really change. Sad part is the damage is done. Not sure who'd want to give up a ceo job to walk into this tire fire.

Time for MR to go. Clearly incapable. Stock price halved during his tenure
