300+ Borrower Defense Claims from Former LU Students

More than 300 former students at Liberty University have already filed Borrower Defense claims to have their student loans forgiven. Tens of thousands more are eligible. To get help in filling out the paperwork, consumers can get help from the Harvard Project on Predatory Student Lending and a support group on Facebook that has more than 11,000 members.

@QAnon, good question. Liberty University in Lynchburg and LU Online are two very distinct schools. Liberty University in Lynchburg is a relatively selective school primarily for middle-class Christian fundamentalists. LU online is an open enrollment college with lower standards--a robocollege.

I am confused. How does a school report 50% acceptance rate in one year, then change to 99% the next year?

Here's some ammunition. Liberty pays very little for instruction. Less than 20 percent of revenues go for instruction. Which begs the question, how good has the instruction been, especially online?
