Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Let go today

Was anyone else told today that they were laid off, but their last day would be the end of the week? They didn’t do that the last 2 layoffs they had, wonder why they changed it up this time. And how can they expect someone to “give their all” knowing that they will not have a job next week?

Be very cautious in your decision. If you continue part time it could nullify severance agreement that you probably have not seen yet. Get all the facts

Same someone else said. I can stay on part time effective 9/25 or take the severance and my last day will be Friday. 10 years at this company... give me the money. I'm out at 5p Friday. Good luck figure out how receive, damages, SFS properly. You left me on my own for years. Bye

I was offered a layoff with severance pay or continue working as a part time employee… where do I sign to say good bye with severance please! Of course I’m taking the money & running for the door .. after 13 years I’m not going to hang on for the death rattle & get nothing. I too have to work until Saturday then I’m done.

Give your all at your next job. Someplace that will appreciate you. BBBY has this habit of getting rid of the wrong people in its stores. Best of luck!
