Thread regarding 3M layoffs

Having a hunch, CBG will make 4D back again

🚩4D to 3D, free up space for SPSD's coming from HCBG.

Does anyone think this is likely to happen?

What does SPSD have to do with healthcare you ask? What if MR could complete a spin where he holds significant shares of the spun company, PFAS remediation becomes a bigger deal & new 3M can buy remediation equipment from the recently spun healthcare company?

SPSD is in the spinout.

View the whole SPSD, Drinking water, Filtration and Separation, Membrane, Biopharma

Mybe not all SPSD will go with either HCBG or CBG, since Membrane and Biopharma are more close to so-called Healthcare.

I don’t think this is likely to happen.

I think they consolidated to 4 divisions to save money on overhead/admin. VPs in the new CBG structure have expanded responsibility = less overall VPs and opportunity to reduce roles below them as well.

I’ve heard Charlotte plant (SPSD from Membrana acquisition) is likely going with HCBG, so that furthers my thought on this.
