after 16 years of ups and downs, working with great people (usually), meeting new friends; after staying loyal, even though i could go work virtually anywhere else and start just under or right at what i was making as a receiving lead after over a decade, because i was dedicated and didn’t hate my JOB (just the lack of direction over time from the company); after all of that, i punched out for the last time today. i still remember punching in in JDA, which was still much quicker then the time clock now. i didn’t want to leave, and my store didn’t want to let me go, but here we are, because full time positions are an unnecessary expense in stockholders eyes. good luck to everyone left, and to everyone who was also let go!

Your dedication was appreciated at store level, for sure. Corp? Not sure. I’m leaving on my own. Too much goin on here to stay any longer.
Thanks for accepting reality. And may you do well elsewhere. Or as we used to say at 53, Nobody Ever Comes Back After they left with a Frown. I miss my customers but apparently they're gone anyway!
one of the things weighing on me most is what they’ll do now; not in a co--y way, but they have no replacement other then my old OPs key who is already overworked and on the edge…this isn’t just about the employees bbb cut, but they destroyed what little morale was left of the ones left
Receiver too. 10 years. 3 different stores. Tomorrow will be my last punch. Weird feeling. Idk what they think they're going to be able to do with receivers.
Same situation here . I actually enjoyed my job. Only reason I didn’t leave was the girls were like family. I’ve made great friends over the years. But time to move on from the sinking ship!
Thanks for sticking it out this long.
