Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Asm's?

Are asm going down to 40 and or being let go altogether? I've heard both.

Maybe the 400 is for the 10 hours of overtime we have now lost over the last year or so while we were at 50 hours.

Lol $400 cut in pay a week for a 5 hour reduction in OT. Redo your math. That is a $80 per hour OT rate. So a regular rate of $53 per hour. 131K for a DSK I don’t think so.

I was cut to 40 hours and got a raise of 1.29. I shouldn’t complain because I still have a job.

I am an asm who was “saved”. I’ve been reduced to 40 hours leaving me with a cut in pay of $400 a week. So I am grateful that I still have a job but don’t ask me to anything over my approved 40 or cover any vacation or weekend ot. We all know it was not our immediate boss who made our fate but it still hurts us all in our pockets.
I will be looking for part time work now to make pay my bills and working a lot more then 40 hours.

I guess 18 years as an asm would make someone tenured?

Both...Tenured ASMs are being let go. There will also be no more ^ASM" title.
