My TSM called me in, he seemed like he just got the news himself the previous day. We've lost a 4 TSR's in the past 4 months, and we have a massive call volume. Parts have been delayed the entire time.

I was making just under $23/hr and was with Xerox for about 2.5 years. Was also making $400/month on standby.
A d-mba$$ colleague of mine at Xerox last year showed me his paycheck, he was making just $25/hr and had been there for over 30 years. I felt so bad for him, till I realized what he was...
I am SO HAPPY to be gone!!!! Should have NEVER signed up with them!!
So sorry!
Perfect timing with school volume and calls spiking!
Revenue generating customers are overrated!
The field service arena is a complete mess. No other way to say it. This Service Now application is cumbersome to work and it has many holes. Word on the street for techs is, do not apply at Xerox. Too much work, low pay and a troublesome application to take and clear service calls. No one wants to work for Xerox in the field and when techs leave they are difficult to replace. Maybe some of the Norwalk people should be walked out. They are essentially flunkies from other companies where they messed up and were sent packing but, hey, they found a home at Xerox.
So techs are now considered legacy costs before Lex buys the Ex
I can't believe they would get rid of techs. So many calls out there. They've changed the response time goals to 7-8 hours when it used to be 4.
Just curious, what was your pay range?
I found a new job in 2 weeks after being blind sided: better pay, 5 weeks vaca to start and profit-sharing 12% of annual salary.
Blessing in disguise and now I work for a company that cares about me!!
Sorry to hear this news. Job market is hot still - get out there and keep going!!
